Legal & Policies
Marketplace Terms
Last updated:
1. Cars only
Swipe Drive accepts car listings only. Motorcycles, push bikes, vans, lorries, aircraft, boats and other non-car vehicles are not permitted. A private seller may have a maximum of one live listing.
Dealer listing allowances depend on the purchased plan. Payment and publication are governed by the Payments, Cancellations & Refunds policy.
2. Genuine vehicles and accurate information
You must own the car or have authority to advertise it. Provide truthful make, model, year, price, mileage, location, specifications, seller details and description. Photographs must genuinely represent the advertised vehicle. Keep the listing current and remove it from public availability when it is sold or no longer available.
Do not knowingly misrepresent condition, history, ownership, mileage or other material details. Do not fabricate a vehicle, brand or model, advertise a non-existent car, or present AI-generated images as genuine photographs of the actual car.
Dealers must be reasonably identifiable as the genuine business they claim to represent. A dealer account or paid placement is not a comprehensive verification of the dealer or the vehicle.
3. Photos, logos and content rights
Upload only photographs, descriptions, dealership logos, branding and media you own or have permission or other lawful rights to use. Copyrighted or trademarked material may be used where you have the appropriate rights; it does not need to be free of copyright.
Do not copy another seller's photos or listing without permission. We may request evidence of rights or remove material following a credible complaint. The content licence in the Terms of Use applies.
4. Suspicious information and duplicate listings
Fake adverts, stolen content, deliberately false details, suspicious pricing, apparently inauthentic dealerships and duplicate fraudulent listings may prompt review. An unusually low price is not automatically evidence of fraud.
We may temporarily hide or freeze suspected listings, contact the seller, ask for clarification or evidence, and investigate. Suspected duplicates may be temporarily hidden while reviewed; legitimate listings may be restored. We do not automatically promise permanent deletion of every duplicate.
Depending on the outcome and seriousness, we may remove content, suspend accounts, or permanently restrict access for serious or repeated abuse. We may use reasonable technical measures to prevent repeated access following serious or repeated breaches.
5. Buying and contacting sellers
Swipe Drive supplies advertising and matching tools, not the car itself. Check the car, seller and documents independently, arrange inspections where appropriate, and agree payment directly with the seller. Do not assume a badge, match percentage or attractive price proves authenticity.
Buyer and seller are responsible for the vehicle contract and any applicable consumer protections. Platform listing fees are separate from the vehicle price. Swipe Drive does not provide vehicle finance or hold a buyer's vehicle purchase payment.
6. Inactive or unpaid adverts
An initial private listing payment must succeed before the advert becomes active. An expired or unresolved paid listing may remain stored but hidden or frozen until an applicable payment is resolved. Dealer publication entitlement depends on an eligible membership.
Inactive adverts may be retained initially rather than deleted immediately. If there is no payment or activity for six months, we may remove the listing. This does not mean every account, payment or legal record is deleted; see the Privacy Policy.
7. Reporting and review
Report suspicious listings or rights concerns to swipe.drive@outlook.com, including the listing link and an explanation. Do not include passwords or payment credentials. Sellers may use the same address to ask for a review of moderation decisions.
